About the course
Most people have felt energy before, even if they have never called it that.
You walk into a room and sense the mood before anyone speaks. You feel drained after certain interactions and clear after others. You know the difference between someone who feels grounded and someone who feels scattered.
Introduction to Energetics gives language, structure, and practice to those experiences.
This 10-week foundation course is for people who are new to energy work, as well as those who have explored it before but want a clearer foundation. The course is experiential from the beginning. You will not only learn concepts about the energy body — you will practice sensing, grounding, protecting, clearing, and working with your own field in a direct and practical way.
Each class builds slowly and intentionally, so students can develop confidence through their own experience.

How the Course Works?
Each class is 90 minutes and includes teaching, guided practice, partner exploration, group reflection, and a closing practice called Pulling Down the Heavens.
The course is structured, but not rigid. The heart of the class is direct experience. Concepts are introduced to support what students are feeling and noticing in their own bodies.
Every week includes three ongoing practices:
The 18 Rules of Posture
Students learn 18 foundational posture principles over the course of ten weeks. These begin with the feet and build upward through the whole body, creating the physical structure needed for grounded energetic work.
The 1–10 Meditation
Each week introduces one stage of a foundational meditation practice. By Week 10, students have the full sequence and can use it as a preparation for energy work, meditation, Qigong, or daily grounding.
Pulling Down the Heavens
This closing movement practice is introduced in Week 1 and repeated each week. As the student’s awareness grows, the same practice begins to feel different, deeper, and more precise.
What You’ll Learn
Over ten weeks, students are introduced to the foundations of energetic practice through guided instruction, partner work, meditation, posture, breath, and simple daily exercises.
- Sense the physical body, energy body, and spirit body
- Understand the Three Treasures: Jing, Qi, and Shen
- Build a grounded posture for energetic practice
- Practice the 1–10 meditation sequence
- Use protection and grounding as forms of energetic hygiene
- Work with Yin and Yang as lived experience, not abstract theory
- Recognize the Five Elements in personality, emotion, and daily patterns
- Practice Dantian breathing as the base of internal energy work
- Learn the Five Yin Organ exercises and healing sounds
- Develop a complete daily maintenance practice
By the end of the course, students will have a full foundation practice they can continue at home.
What Makes This Course Different?
It is a practice-based course. Students are asked to notice what they feel, test it through partner work, reflect on it honestly, and bring the practice into daily life.
A central part of the class is partner sharing. After each experiential exercise, students speak with a partner about what they noticed. This helps the experience become clearer and more real. It also shows how differently each person senses the field.
There is no pressure to perform, believe, or have a dramatic experience. The course is built around careful attention, grounded practice, and honest observation.
Course Flow
Weeks 1–3: The Field Is Real
The first phase helps students begin sensing the energy field through their own hands. Students explore the physical body, energy body, and spirit body, then learn the Three Treasures as a map for what they are experiencing.
Weeks 4–5: The Landscape
Students are introduced to Yin and Yang, then the Five Elements. These teachings are presented through direct experience: breath, posture, emotion, personality, seasonality, and the way energy moves in daily life.
Weeks 6–8: Working With It
This phase develops the student’s personal practice. Students learn Dantian breathing, the Five Yin Organ exercises, and the corresponding healing sounds for the Lungs, Kidneys, Liver, Heart, and Spleen.
Weeks 9–10: Integration and Maintenance
The final phase brings the full practice together. Students learn energetic hygiene, channel clearing, and the complete daily maintenance sequence.
Who This Class Is For
Inner Arts is for those who feel there is more happening beneath the surface and want a grounded way to understand it.
This course is especially supportive for sensitive individuals, curious beginners, and practitioners in the healing arts who want to develop clearer energetic awareness through direct practice.
This class is also a good fit for people who:
Are curious about energy work but want a practical starting point
Feel sensitive to people, places, or environments and want better tools
Practice meditation, Qigong, yoga, bodywork, or healing arts
Want to understand their own energy with more clarity
Are interested in Chinese energetic medicine and internal arts: Weigong, Neigong, and Shengong
Prefer learning through direct experience rather than theory alone
How Enrollment Works
Introduction to Energetics is the prerequisite.
Before this course, you take the single Introduction to Energetics class, so you arrive having already felt the field once.
It's a cohort, and it starts together.
Each week builds on the one before, so everyone begins at week one and moves through as a group. For that reason, there are no drop-ins and no joining mid-course. If you can't start with this cohort, the next one begins September 17th, 2026.
Seats are limited.
The room is kept small on purpose, so the sensing work and the partner practice have the space they need.

What You'll Walk Away With
A complete daily practice that belongs to you: a standing posture built rule by rule, a ten-stage foundation meditation, the five organ exercises with their healing sounds, and the clearing practices that keep your field steady. A map — the three bodies, the three treasures, Yin and Yang, the five elements — for everything you've been feeling. And the one thing no one can hand you: your own direct experience to stand on.
Many students finish and choose to take the course again. The material reveals different layers with different life experience, and returning students anchor the group for newcomers. Both are serving the community.
