Yoga Nidra often translated as "yogic sleep" is a guided meditation practice done while lying down comfortably. It is a structured process that brings the body into deep physical relaxation while the mind remains gently aware.

The practice systematically guides attention through body awareness, breath awareness and specific cognitive techniques that reduce sensory input and quiet mental activity. This process supports nervous system regulation and promotes restorative rest.

How Yoga Nidra is different from other forms of Meditation?

Unlike seated Meditation, Yoga Nidra:

  • Is done lying down
  • Uses continuous guidance
  • Does not require concentration or control of thoughts
  • Does not require prior mediation experience

Who May Benefit?

Yoga Nidra may be supportive for individuals experiencing:

  • Chronic Stress
  • Burn Out
  • Sleep disturbances
  • Nervous System Dysregulation
  • Mental fatigue
  • High -performance overload
*Mats, blankets, and eye pillows are provided. Please bring any other items that will make you comfortable while resting on the floor.
