Join us for a calming, guided practice designed to help you unwind built-up stress, release emotional “stuckness,” and leave feeling clearer, more grounded, and restored.
This class is facilitated by our special guest from Sedona - Dr. Sebastian S. Smith, DTCM, DCEM, a Chinese Medicine practitioner who has worked with clients across the United States and in more than 20 countries. Qigong and meditation supported him through a near-death experience when nothing else did—an experience that deepened his commitment to these practices and the way he shares them with the world.
The Six Healing Sounds is a classic Daoist meditation that uses gentle breath, focused awareness, and specific healing sounds to support the five major yin organ systems recognized in Chinese medicine. The practice is simple, and often feels noticeably settling—especially when you’ve been carrying pressure, tension, or “too much” for too long.
What to expect
You’ll receive a brief overview of the practice so you understand what you’re doing and the intention behind it, followed by a fully guided Six Healing Sounds meditation. This class is typically practiced seated in a chair. We’ll also leave time at the end to integrate, so you can return to your day feeling quieter, steadier, and more spacious inside.
